French losses: 2 in the Secret Expedition, 1 in Peking, 1 in Shanghai, 1 in Southern China, and at least 1 in Spanish Sahara - yet the decline from last turn to this is 80 to 76, not 74.

Russians kill 6 units in Manchuria without losing a single 1 of their own?

Sources of funding/investment in Shanghai from international sources would be good to mention, even though it seems to be from lots of sources.

"The first Peace Conference ends with the signing of the First Hague Convention." - I don't think this should be assumed, particularly given the state of global conflict going on. At the very least there should have been a thread in Diplomacy.

"Germany has a war scare against Japan. Newspapers and pamphlets decry the twin yellow perils of China and Japan." - Personally, I think more information or elaboration here would be welcome, but that's just me.

"The Russia Tsar attends the funeral of the Tsar of Bulgaria and gives a powerful speech:" - I'm sure Coinneach put a lot of effort into his speech, but do we really have to read it in the news? Just summarise it so we don't have to read his gleeful Islamophobia :P

Mexico is still in the NPC stats.

Honduras, Nicaragua, and El Salvador can be removed from the stats and replaced with the United States of Central America. Spoilered here is their combined stats:
SpoilerShow
United States of Central America
Government: Military dictatorship
Stability: 2
Sphere: Mexican
Units: 30

Would like to see all of huojins questions adressed, in particular these ones. The Peace conference was not held by any players, as it has not come to fruition on IRC or elsewhere. Also world events are very diffrent from real life.

The War scare needs to be detailed, so me and japan know exactly what went down.

Also can you identify which factions you refer to, when saying 'the chinese'. there are too many to paint with such a broad stroke. This was mentioned before.

Tibet's bonus resource ought to now go to Britain, not Qing China, as Tibet's now in the British Raj sphere.

The Boers are more than 'tension with British' now that they've actually torn up the treaties, ended negotiations and invaded.

New questions!

Fighting in the Philippines should be much more significant. America is occupying in large numbers, but the Filipino's sustained a force of 100,000 irregulars and utilised heavy guerrilla warfare against them. Though probably still under the auspices of the Philippine Republic for now.

No Kurdish or Arab unrest in Persian-occupied Mosul and Basra?

Mexican popularity is still at low, despite increased popularity amongst the poor. I know large business owners are hardly overjoyed, but I'd hope for "somewhat low" at least, no?

Credit incomes are still fucked in general as pointed out before, so that's a whole different kettle of fish.

Pretty sure it's this, scorp: viewtopic.php?f=250&t=1414

You and Tardis agreed to pay 5 credits a month to Sweden-Norway for base rental. That's 6 months a turn, -30 credits a turn. The real inaccuracy is that Austria-Hungary doesn't have the -30 rent too. So their income should be +70, not +100 as I recalculated.

USA is still absurdly overpowered in the credits front. It's 1900, not 1940. :p

See economic data previously posted. Previous concerns about the inconsistency of the British Empire stats remain - the Responsible Government nations really either ought to come under my direct control and stats and income, or they should be statted seperately and I pay no maintenance for them. Right now, I'm paying for them without getting their benefits.

Concerning the United States. Due to the reaction of the people in Cuba & the Philippines being annexed, should there not be a larger penalty on colonial income than just -5? I mean these are areas that were on the outskirts of the Spanish Empire, that could practically taste independence after Spain lost the Spanish-American War. Annexation without cooperation from the populace would likely result in people not working(unless forced & oppressed), and the economies of these places coming to a halt. The income of the US does seem rather high considering, compared to the other developed nations. I mean if he soaked his country with investments up until now I could see it being more believable but i'm not sure that is the case.

Also concerning the American public. Outright annexation in these areas would likely cause some unrest amongst the public, whose sons are being sent to fight imperial wars when it goes against the american outlook. Veiled imperialism is one thing, but outright imperialism would likely open a can of worms in the PR sector.

My 2 cents concerning recent events.

I've been spending money on infrastructure for 3 turns straight. My concern with being nerfed by others ooc is historically in places this begins people trying to make me able to do nothing. So I have to on principle opposing any nerfing of my country just to please others. So may sound mean but if I get more massive attacks on me and more shit liek mexico somehow pushing terrorists around in my country somehow I need a way to defend myself from the players trying to win via ooc shit.

Personally I'm not trying to attack anyone, I hope it does not come off that way. I just wanted to bring attention to aspects that may not of been considered by MoO. I know overlooking things sometimes can happen as a GM from my own experience, and people pointing stuff out helps. It's always MoO's call in the end as he's the man running the show for the rest of us. So i digress having said my bit.
