Ban Ki-moon
Secretary-General of the United Nations

After much discussion within the UNSC and UNGA it has come time to elect members for the discussed reformation of the UNSC. The proposed additions to the UNSC are the nations of India, Japan, and Brazil. All three nations are predicted to provide valuable insight, and diplomatic understanding in the regions of the world they call home. The world is entrusting to them, the mission to uphold world peace and adhere to guidelines put upon them by the United Nations mandate.

All UNSC permanant, and non-permanent members in favor of adding India, Japan and Brazil to the United Nations Security Council, say aye.

Votes to expand Non-permanent member seats will follow this vote in July 2008.

Japan - and the other nations of the G3 Group, India and Brazil - wholeheartedly voice our support and appreciation for this essential reform, to increase the legitimacy and strength of the United Nations.
