Israeli Address to the United Nations

Ladies and gentlemen of the United Nations,

The State of Israel has recently celebrated 60 years since our independence. The history of our country has been marked by great progress, but by conflict, too. Conflict born of a refusal by some in the region to accept any Jewish homeland in Israel. This refusal, and commitment to the destruction of the Israeli people, is today chiefly orchestrated from Iran. I make my statement to the United Nations to shed light on our intervention on the Golan Heights: it was to stop a nuclear deployment by Iran in Syria and to Hezbollah.

Before the new year, the Israeli government was informed by multiple international partners that Iran had developed a nuclear weapon, in direct contravention of treaties to which Iran is signatory, and in direct contravention of the UNSC's repeated will. Further, we assertained that the Iranian nuclear programme was not in Iran itself; the better to avoid IAEA inspectors, and the eyes of the world.

Instead Syria had become a partner to Iran's strategy of nuclear proliferation by hosting their programme in the town of Al-Harra - only 8 miles from Israel. Surrounded by Iranian military units, and air defences, they thought themselves safe from discovery. Iran and Syria had deployed a nuclear device on Israel's doorstep, and the chances of it's covert use either against Israel or UNIFIL in Lebanon were high, considering past Iranian aggression.

Operation Pillar of Defence was launched by the IDF to neutralise this threat. We have warned before that we reserve the right to a first-strike in self-defence, and would do so again. Iran's efforts to allow sectarianism to enable dominance of the Middle East will fail. Under the Begin Doctrine, Israel will stop state sponsors of terror such as Iran from deploying nuclear weapons against us.

These words and the lessons of history are passed down to this generation. Israel has already withdrawn our forces from Al-Harra, but the danger remains. The international community must enact punishing sanctions on a regime committed to war against the international community. You must stop allowing Iran to further develop her nuclear arsenal, and you, delegates, must stop Iran from waging war by proxy in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Gaza, and anywhere else. We hope the world wakes up to the threat of an Iran which has made a mockery of the UNSC.

We shall further be sharing intelligence gained from the operation with various actors, to ensure that Iran cannot commit nuclear terrorism and get away with it, as she seems to have desired. We call on Syria in particular to cease going down this path of sectarianism, confrontation, and war; and to reject Iran which aims to dominate the Arab world.

The French government applauds Israel's swift and proportional response to the Iranian-Syrian nuclear threat. Nuclear proliferation by these two states is not an option, and we will continue to cooperate with our Israeli allies to keep this threat in check.

China is displeased with the loss of investments which have resulted due to this sudden attack. We shall wait for Israel to, hopefully, share its intelligence with either the UN or China privately, so that we can be sure this attack was at least semi-justifiable.

The State of Israel shall indeed be sharing evidence of Iran's breaching international law and of her duplicity. We trust this shall finally enable the world to enact sanctions on an Iranian regime hell-bent on nuclear proliferation throughout the region, and which has for too long been allowed to get away with it due to evasion, lying, and playing the UNSC against each other. We understand Chinese desires for verifiable evidence of Israel's statements, and shall gladly enter further discussions with the IAEA and the UN as a whole as soon as we are able. We would thank China for her open mind on an issue we know Iran has sought to mislead Beijing on. ((As soon as I get my turn pm I'll post, essentially))

The Israeli government has cooperated with the IAEA and provided us with two things of great importance concerning events that occured in Syria. The Israeli government has presented the IAEA with a nuclear weapon that was taken from the facility in Syria. The IAEA can say with certainty that the origin of the materials that make up the weapon are from Iran.

The second piece of evidence that was presented to the IAEA are documents concerning the weapons creation, finances, material manifests, testing documents etc. These documents point to Iran as the creator of nuclear weapon despite being within Syria's boarders.

After reviewing the evidence, the IAEA's investigation officially points to Iran as being the creator of the nuclear weapon.

The French government is glad the IAEA was able to quickly and conclusively determine our intelligence about the Iranian-Syrian nuclear programme was correct. Iran is a rogue state and needs to be stopped from acquiring further nuclear weapons.

These revelations are greatly concerning for China - we feel the need to officially condemn the actions of Iran and Syria. Our Syrian partners have left us in the dark regarding this gross violation of trust, and we will not only officially be revoking all support for the regime in Syria - said support being given with the hopes of acting as a bridging force between Syria and the west - we will also be joining in sanctions on the Iranian regime.

Equally, however, we will also be reaffirming or condemnation of the Israeli and French attacks - understandable as they are. Nuclear proliferation is an extremely sensesitive and divisive issue, but that does no exhonerate France or Israel of their actions against the Syrian and Iranian people - engaging in what amounts to an act of war. No case was brought before the UN regarding these missions, as has been pointed out.

We thank the IAEA for their due diligence in pursuing this matter and providing a report for the UN. This evidence is decisive, and abiding by our declaration made in recent weeks, as well as being a member of the UNSC, we will be taking actions - besides sanctions - to hopefully stabilise the region in light of such a brazen and bold attempt to shatter the already fragile regional stability.

We are sadden that our friends in China would listen to the Zionist entity. We are saddened but not surprised that the United Nations will side with the Imperialists. Any evidence Israel presents of a "bomb" will be from its own nuclear weapons program. A nuclear weapons program the world has ignored, despite United Nations resolutions calling for the Zionist entity to give up its weapons or face sanctions.

We call upon the world to remember what happened to Iraq. America claimed Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, overthrew its regime, and slaughtered thousands of Muslims. It turned out no such weapons program existed. Instead it was the Americans who were led by a madman who wanted to use advanced weapons to attack Russia and China, using Iraq as a base of operations. It appears this same madness has now seized France and the Zionists.

The delusional mullah that passes for the Islamic Republic of Iran's UN representative is, as usual, lying. We remind them that we do not rely solely on our own intelligence or evidence, but the evidence from multiple international intelligence agencies, and all of this confirmed and validated by the IAEA, internationally respected and impartial. If any member of the UNSC requires further validation than the UNSC's own agency for nuclear matters, we ask them to speak to us privately.

Delegates - do not to listen to Iran's attempts to deflect the world's attention from their secret nuclear programme purposefully hidden from the UNSC, and their nuclear deployment on the Golan Heights. Whether the tactical nuclear weapon deployed there was intended for an attack on Israel, or for Hezbollah and Iran's other terrorist proxies in the region, both constituted a grave threat Israel was forced to respond to. We wish peace, but will never allow Iran to threaten our very existence.

Iran has no interest in nuclear deterrence - hence her refusal even to admit her guilt - but instead wishes to wage war on the world. This medievalist theocracy has not time for truth, peace, or co-existence.

It is time for Iran to be sanctioned by the international community for her actions as a rogue state, and her continued commitment to the destruction of secular Arab democracies and the State of Israel.

Britain has found that the fact of all these discussions are only giving rise to more problems in our future. Iran has very little it can do to defend itself but by attacking mistakes from the past. This is a much more credible thing than the Operation in Iraq. The same Iraq twenty years prior Iran itself was at war with. So if we are to be talking about past faults we need to bring both sides faults to the forefront. Yet that is not very helpful for this discussion, the fact remains that Iran or Syria have found themselves with Nuclear weapons without yet announcing it to the world. Meaning it is an very unstabilizing force in the area. It falls on the UN to keep peace where we can, because that is the charter of which it was founded. As such we would agree to sanctions on Iran because of the fact that it works so closely to Syria the only other choice is to blame them, as Syria doesn't have the factories or ability to refine Uranium to the point of making it weaponized.
