Summer begins. Crisp air rolls down the shores, children leave their schoolhouses to run and play, and glistening trains glide through the countryside. Expectant astronauts see the world fade before them, space elevators climb up into the sky, and fireworks pop below. Fisheries dig prawns and clams out of the water, joyous lovers embrace in city squares, and a warning buzzes in everyone’s heads. People scramble. They run and hide as the AIs warn of a new batch of summer storms and massive hurricanes slamming down from the tumultuous and ice free arctic.

The World In General: The African Century has come and it is here to stay. The African Union, which oversees more than a quarter of the human population and wields greater space assets (and more space elevators) than the next four superpowers combined is the undisputed hyperpower on Earth and beyond. That is, whenever it can agree on anything. On the worst of days the African Union is, like most of the planet, a hodgepodge of loosely associated states and regional powers, jockeying for control and prestige on every issue, from resources, to weapons development, to who has the best soccer team and national pop band. On such days the “Old” superpowers of India and China take center stage, between them possessing almost as many people as the African Union, and tendrils that extend to every corner of the planet, though oftentimes the two find themselves far more competitive and less cooperative than neighboring Africa. Despite the apparently global tranquility the world is in a constant tumult. The continuing ravages of climate change (and the resulting costs and recessions needed to fight it) are being met by political upheaval, revolutionary governments, cults and new religions, and an ever more crowded and prickly race to space.

Exciting times ahead to be sure.

The Americas:

The Americas are known as the "sick man of earth", with newer states and simmering conflicts meet decaying gatekeeper states and former powers. North America is dominated by four major powers, Canada, Mexico, the United States and a new player on the block, the Asian-Pacific Union. The status of these three powers however, and which one of them rules the continent, is starting to be questioned. The United States is in a period of decline, the scars of the rise of the great deserts and the droughts which struck some of its most populated and developed sections have yet to heal. The power of the central government is coming under fire, and regionalist powers are emerging once again. In the South the states of the former Confederacy have come back together, now under the banner of Green Philosophy and Nationalist Catholicism, not white nationalism. In the West the Mormons reassert themselves and down in the edge of former California, the disgruntled cities that banded together in a mutual hatred of the rest of the nation have officially joined the Asian Union. As the United States declines, Mexico rises. Although the northern states of Mexico were thoroughly depopulated the great economic engine in the south, which had restarted in the 21st century, spun harder with the influx of new labor. Mexico has risen by both leaps and bounds and inches and meters, as its nibbling at Central America has shown. To its north, in the Great Desert that cuts through it and the United States, outposts are being established in conflict with the Asian Union, who question whether the Mexicans have any claim on these areas. Well into American territory the Mexican and Asian flags fly and the Mexican army runs drills. There are murmurs that a new war may begin, a war to cement Mexico’s newfound strength and redraw the lines of North America. Looking south on all of this Canada has pushed forward a policy of drawing back from its commitments on the continent. Instead the Canadian navy sails across the warm northern seas to its new neighbors in the Siberia and Scandinavia, all the while arming itself in case any conflict seeps north into its lands.

In South America, the land has been through a number of immense changes across the century, the implosions of Peru and Venezuela being two of the most devastating. In their wake other powers moved in, among them a rising Bolivia and a resurgent (and corporatist) Colombia. To the east, is a resurgent Brazil, one now wary of its neighbors for their inaction during the chaotic years of global warming and population decline. Brazil is increasingly close with Africa as some of the more Northern reaches of South America, most notably the Caribbean. The Caribbean itself is largely the playground of Mexico, but within its shadow maneuver two regional powers, Cuba and the Dominican Republic. Both are powerful merchant states with sizable navies, and both of whom have a hand in the shipping lanes that go to and from the Americas. In 2150 it is nearly impossible to see a ship sailing the Pacific that does not fly the standard of Cuba and so to it is with the Atlantic and the Dominican Republic.

Where people look on worryingly in America about the thought of future conflict, in Russia, people recoil at the sight of current bloodshed. Russia is falling, in every way and on every front the nation is losing to breakaway republics, reasserted nationalisms, terrorists, and religious movements. The FSB regime, which has ruled the nation for over a hundred years is coming to an end, and while some might rejoice at the thought that the specter of Europe is dying, many of its cousins on the continent are worried. To the West is European Union, much engorged from its early years in the 20th century, while a vibrant spot on the continent, the European Union still bears the scars of conflicts former and present. The Spanish and Balkan Rebellions, and overall the complicated and oftentimes violent process of federalization has left a lot of the people wary of the European project. But with African support and and massive investments from the other former hyperpowers, Europe never truly lost its superpower status, with the common market remaining the massive engine of economic prosperity it always was. Further West one can look at the long cold remains of the European Union. Nationalist Pseudo-democracies in Europe have almost disappeared, the British Isles spun apart and England found itself under the dominion of India in less then a century, which has been a contentious topic between both India and Europe for a while. Scandinavia is still recovering from the damage done during its pogroms prior to federalization European Union, which were markedly bloodier than those on the rest of the continent. One particular place of note is Greenland, having left Denmark and the European Union, it benefited heavily from the global warming that hit the northern hemisphere, taking in millions of climate refugees. In about half a century, Greenland grew from a small population, to a an economic power of over 12 million people.

Africa, the crown jewel of Earth. The continent's resources and breakneck development in the 21st century has given rise to some of the richest and most developed nations of Earth, but has also led its internal borders to twist and turn and many nations to fall. Although in retrospect seen as the great winner in terms of climate change, African nations were some of the first to buckle under its stresses. In the midst of this tumult the African Union took center stage, spreading peacekeepers, repairing infrastructure, bringing food and water, and connecting the burgeoning yet also straining economies of the continent together under first a free trade area, then a currency union, then a united bank. Collectively the African Union and African Central Bank are the largest political and economic powers on the planet, dwarfing India, China, and America combined and when riled is the greatest military force on or off-planet. For the average person on the ordinary day however the realm of states and nations is still dominant, and in this realm there is only one master: The Congo. As time progressed the Congo, cleared of its internal issues, slowly but surely took over the heart of Africa, integrating states like the [other] Congo, Cameroon the Central African Republic and more. Congo does not dominate by way of population alone, but by their economic stranglehold on the rest of the continent. The state oversees the rail-lines of the continent and even owns sizable chunks of the rails of the Middle East, its conglomerates meanwhile have a hand in every energy venture in the hemisphere, and openly own the massive dams in the Congo which power a third of the continent. Although Africa herself sways back in forth under the motions of its great powers and coalitions it continues to move forward and grow. Caribbean nations join and Brazil moves further into the African sphere people begin to talk about the prospects of a Greater Africa, perhaps, someone says, they should move East into Asia.

Asia, is perhaps the only continent that could challenge collective African supremacy, were it not that they were even more fractured than the Africans. Both Chinese and Indian dreams for an Asian Union under their guidance came and went, and what remained was a continent bestridden by at least three superpowers. In this new Asia China and India still dominate, both expansive nations holding 2 billion people each, and between them two thirds of Asia’s population. The two have been at peace for 120 years, ever since the second Sino-Indian War ended and gave rise to the now passed Indian Era. Tension still abounds between the behemoths however, and in the wake of both of their failed bids for global hegemony they perpetually undermine each other from gaining the upper hand in Asia. As such, within their shadows lay the powers of Islamic Republican Federation and the Asian Pacific Union, which have both presented themselves as a “Third Way” and carved out their own spheres of influence. In the reformed Middle East, the Iranian lead Islamic Republican Federation stretches from Kazakhstan to Yemen under the call of a renewed “Islamic Universalist” ideology (Which just of course happens to include many states which are neither), but for the large part operates largely as a regional cabal to keep a stranglehold on Silk Road trade, which has reemerged as one of the major nexuses of the global economy. In reality the universal Islamist philosophy espoused by Iran convinces few people, considering it is built on the Shia tenants of Islam but is imposed on a lot of Sunnis. The Asia-Pacific Union has largely seized control of the former ASEAN nations, with a notable exception in the Philippines, which has emerged as the armed neutral and technological powerhouse of the region. Malaysia is no more, having collapsed under the weight of violent Salafism in the middle 21st century, to which Indonesia responded by restoring order, and then in many parts, simply never left. Asia-Pacific region were forced to band together increasingly in order to maintain their own independence as China and later India advanced, in a European Union-esque arrangement, with states on the US West Coast acceding to the union with which it had far greater economic and cultural ties than distant Washington DC. Over time, this union became more and more central and indivisible, taking advantage of e-democratic technologies and universal translation software. APU is headquartered in the Singapore arcology, which functions as the effective melting pot capital. Returning to the two Behemoths, China and India have, for the most part, grown at the expense of their neighbors and have found their nations transformed over the years both through technology and their striving for global power. Both are largely massive bureaucracies, in many ways modeled after older political philosophies, with India ruled largely by a union of governors, intellectuals, and the military, while China has established a Confucian state supported by a 100 million strong civil service and a continent sized AI network, building what many believe to be the first true Cyberocracy. Many of their neighbors have not fared so well. Myanmar, once viewed as the crossroads of South Asia is not expected to survive the century. Japan, while technically on the rise again after losing Hokkaido and bottoming out at 55 million people in the early 22nd century, is finding its membership not only to be a fact, but a necessity. Korean and Indonesian corporations move across the land, pitting faction against faction in the new Japanese government while calls for independence sound in Kyushu and northern Honshu, driven largely by the descendants of climate refugees that stormed the islands decades ago. The thought of Japan flying apart for a second time concerns the Asian-Pacific Union greatly, especially with China looming to the West. Far in the West of Asia, beyond the dominance of the Behemoths and Iran stands the a land of severed heads and political slogans written with blood. The fall of Syria made way for over three decades of collapsing governments, foreign invasions, Salafist and Apocalyptic cults and wars, rouge states, and at least one confirmed use of nuclear weapons during the fall of Israel. Out of this period, known as the "Alfk", or the "Unwinding", rose the The Federation of the Crescent. With Saudi Arabia's corrupt monarchy fell to the hands of its own military apparatus and Iran withdrawing within its own borders, the Arab Military had a decade to root out the last of the Ikhwan and then to slowly restore order northwards, edging forward slowly but surely until the whole of the middle east fell in its hands. It is still plagued with separatism, Islamic, Jewish and Christian apocalyptic movements, religions terrorism and violence, but the military regime has remained remarkably tolerant and brought much needed stability.

Luna has very much been shaped by the war of liberation. It has given birth to new and peculiar states. In order to resist the Earther Hegemony, the main Lunar powers quickly realized that they needed a hyperpower of their own. Lacking the population and power projection to match earth, instead the three Lunar Superpowers chose to band together into the Triarchy, a massive conglomerate of the three most powerful states. The Res Public Tycho provided the nascent state with its intelligence services, developed during the war, and served as a bridge between the Islamic Dar al-Maqamah and the Parthenian Collective, a country made up mostly of clones. Sitting in a middle ground between the heavily AI using Dar Al-Maqamah, and the genetically modified Parthenians who produce more people when needed, the Tycho Republic proved to be the bridge that formed the Triarchy.

On their side, the Parthenian Collective lent the Triarchy its massive clone army, experienced in crushing any dissent on Luna and easily spread over the solar system. While, the Dar Al-Maqamah, sitting on the largest H3 deposits and thus the major exporter out of Luna (Funnily enough to the Earthers, as earth needs the H3 to fuel its ships while Luna finds good uses for the cash revenue) making it the chief financier of most activities.

Walad Bahr - The Fertile Sea, set up by a wealthy Ethiopian woman who sought a return to an imagine part of Ethiopian history where women ruled. Relatively small and thus weathered the revolutions by switching sides at the last moment. Allied with the Triarchy out of fear and convince. - Small State

Tiangong - China's first colony on Luna, used to be ran by the Wàng Yuè Mining Company, which gave the company and China a massive weight to through around. The company however declined, and so did the colony, by the time the revolution happened the colony's state meant that the administrators just left and the workers took over. It has slowly been getting back to its powerful status - Regional Power

Bog Zla Ba - Each dome has a different form of government, but loosly united under a representative democracy. One of the remnant of the Indian Hyperpower status, the Lunar Tibet was created to more or less rub it in the face of the declining Chinese, as rich Indians and Westerners pooled money to settle the Central Tibetan Government on the moon, as China had done quite a lot to shut it down on earth. They build a single small dome, and while over time they expanded, it was nothing like the breakneck expansion of other Lunar states. The result of this is a mixed Tibet, united only in its common belief-system, a civilization state on Luna, who's economy is centered around the banking institutions, where a lot of Triarchists, Indians and other lunar inhabitants securely deposit their riches. - Small State

1. (Romanistan) - A very small state that punches way above its weight. Romanistan doesn't own any domes, the territories it is allocated are an empty gathering spot where they set up temporery shelters for their "Caravanserai" Caravan-Palaces. The real life of Romanistan happens on the road, their giant rover caravans criss-cross the moon on regular trips and cycles, connecting all of the major Lunar domes. - Small State

Islamic State of Farther Bengal- Bangladesh on Earth is dead, but it lives on in Luna. As environmental disasters crushed the small but overpopulated state, India stepped in to evacuate as much of the population to its considerable territories on Luna. Eventually, liberator turned to slaver and the Bengali population, fueled by the still underground Dar al-Maqamah, rose up along with the rest of Luna, crushing the Indian dominion. - Great Power

Vimanagadha - Capital of the former Indian colony, what remained of the Indian administrators fled to it, were betrayed by their middle management who wanted to avoid the Parthenian Clone Army descending on them. After capitulation, to colony kept more or less the same Corporatist structure, with middle management filling the shoes of upper management. Really unhappy at the Triarchy over territorial losses on all three sides. Keeps their mouths shut and play along, but like to secretly fuck with the Triarchy whenever possible, walking a tight rope to avoid the Collective descending upon them - Regional Power

Military Occupation - Used to be called Kinsasa, one of the last colonies to fall under Lunar control, remains loyal to the Earthers. The colony resisted right until the last days, as its domes crumbled and its populace fought in their combat suits in a bitter struggle against the ships emblazoned with the crescent disembarking armies of identical men and even their own people as Tychian spies filled their ranks. Their domes have long been repaired, but the voices of discontent still continue. - Occupied region

The Refuge - As environmental catastrophes were striking earth, companies, countries and individuals pooled resources into a radical idea. Purchasing uninhabited land in the dark side of the moon, the Red Cross and various volenteer organizations created The Refuge, where a selected groups of survivors were brought to build something new. Nowadays, 2/3 of the doctors and medical personnel on Luna comes from the Refuge. But the policy of the Refuge to use the very small number of ships at its disposal to bring people (no matter their side) to Luna has brought the ire of some states, as they are equally fine with accepting Earthers as much as Triarchists. - Small State

Prosperian Confederacy- Prospero, the capital of the Cyberocracy, is one of the marvels of the colonial period. It was built up upon the remnants of crashed American station, drawing its population form the people of all colors, nations or races, it was built upon the idea local autonomy and economic independence. Despite its size, it is sparely populated, united under a very loose confederacy. It includes states that are build on religion, ethnic groups and a few attempts at polystatism in some of the domes. - Small State

Barsamin Cyberocracy - While most, if not all, of the Lunar nations rely heavily on transhumanist approaches and changes to their DNA, the Barsamin movement goes a step further. Named after a pre-christian Armenian sky god, the Barsamin movement, also known as genome-jugglers are famous for their massive augmentations, that disgust even the most open minded of individuals. They exists all over Luna, but Barsamin is their home. - Great Power

Islamic Republic of Bahag - Bahag stands for Bengal, Arab, Hazara, Azeri, Gujarati amongst others, Bahag is another one of al-Maqamah's projects, bringing in populations of Sunni and Shia Muslims who have either been harmed heavily by global warming or by hostile earther governments. Bahag is a civilization states based on Sunni and Shia teachings, based on the dark side of the moon have begun forming a culture of their own after 50 years of mixing. One of Al-Maqamah's greatest successes. - Small State

The Complex - The only Superpower outside of the Triarchy, the Complex was the crucial ally needed to break the back of the Earthers. The Complex existed before the Triarchy, emerging from a combination of colonies from various states placed under the administration of the African Union after political maneuvering back on earth. As revolutions rocked Luna and the Triarchy emerged, a tense peace existed, as the leaders of the Complex, a cabal of administrators brought from earth, held out to see who will prevail. Ultimately, when the African Union decided to enter the war, the Complex Administrators who had built up good relations with the Triarchy decided against it and in a silent coup basically handed over the moon to the Triarchy. After that, the Complex has slowly decayed, but still remains one of the superpowers on Luna. Despite refusing membership in the Triarchy, the Complex remains a solid ally. - Superpower

Esado Lunar - Angola had a brief stint in colonization, purchasing a failing corporate colony and expanding it massively over the years. For many years this was the African Union's Lunar enclave, before the Complex was acquired. But much like the Complex, it turned against the African Union, though unlike the Complex it fell victim to a revolution. - Regional Power

Phteah DeiTuk - One of the new cultures of Luna, created from Diverse groups such as Koreans, Khmer, Vietnamese, Karen, Shan even some Malay and Indonesian groups who have settled on Luna after the revolution and slowly melted into a overall cultural groups. Its separation form the Complex was pretty bloody, with the Triarchy nervously looking on as the two states remain in tense relations. - Regional Power

As the sun rolls over the horizon of Mars, and begins the long march of the Martian day, the elevator anchored to Pavonis mons, now called Mlima Wa Uhuru (Free Mountain/Mountain of Freedom) thunders upwards on its thin carbon tube cable towards Phobos. African administrators descend upon New Kinshasa, the capital of the Mlima Wa Uhuru Colony, the largest African Bank project, cobbled together from colonial territory purchased, bribed for, fought for or cheated for from other superpowers and great powers for over 70 years.

Just as quickly, arguments erupt on the supposedly neutral meeting ground, Chasm City, a city carved into Males Chasma, and ran by the United Nations. Arguments over the whether the Chinese should be allowed to build a second Space Elevator emerging from Olympus Mons, where Yinghou City stood proud, a city carved into the endless Olympus mountain. Or whether it should be the Indians, Europeans, Africans or Chinese to run the various United Nations trusts and domes build or carved into Valles Marineris and its adjacent craters, where the vast majority of human population on Mars lives.

A conflict mirrored in the east, where the Persians, putting their foot down, have carved out a massive colony over a future planned canal to connect the future Hellas and Utopia seas. The importance of said canal in the future has been realized not only by the Iranians, but by the Asian-Pacific Union, Mexico and Brazil, all of which have colonies close-by and are seeking to undermine Persian claims on the area.

Colonial wars are frequent to this side of the solar system, but its not only the ghosts of future conflicts that haunt Mars, but the ghosts of past conflicts as well. Only several years after the first colonies were solidified, conflict became an inevitability, its been almost 50 years since a United Nations force lead by the African Union landed to destroy the so called "Martian Revolution", facing a hodgepodge of Martian groups who, inspired by Luna, saught freedom for Mars. Unlucky for them, the Earthers had learned a bitter lesson from Luna and the Coalition Force crushed the nascent rebels, forcing many to flee into the south of Mars, where they founded the secret colonies. Using cloaking technologies and borrowing deep into the Martian terrain, the Martian Underground remained existing, despite it only being considered a myth up north.

Lincoln Colony - American colony, in a really bad state, desperately trying to reverse terraforming, with the ices thawing and it unable to pay for adequate protection against flooding the colony might be forced to evacuate. - Small Colony

Res Publica Nachis - A remnant of the Martian revolts, one of the states that was allowed to exist. Headache for the Europeans who are nearby, as the Noachians practice smuggling, despite remaining peaceful. Rumored Triarchal Allegiance. - Regional Power

Al-Qahrt Al-jadida Colony - New Cairo, a massive if lightly populated colonial projects, with domes deep in the future sea. Currently building up the defenses against the sea. - Large Colony / Regional Power level

Tanah Merah - The Asian-Pacific Union's colony on Mars, ran by Indonesians, pushing claims on the Canal, but facing Iranian and Brazilian push back. Very heavily populated unlike the Iranian project - Large Colony / Regional Power Level

Flamejante Areias - The Brazilian Colonial Project, one of the only Brazilian outlets to vent its overpopulation, therefore is dug deeply underground and filled to the brink. Needs living space very quickly. - Large Colony / Regional Power level

Akhtari Azar-Gūn - The price of the Eastern Martian conflict, Akhtari is the Iranian colonial project. With the Islamic Republic throwing massive amounts of money at digging the canal. The Polyport Guilds - The Guilds emerged from the early corporate attempts to colonize Mars. Not very successful in their own right, so they moved together to form a loose association, which grew into the Polyport association. A deeply capitalistic society, with wealth and prominence, where everything is for sale. It is one of the few states that knows and actively trades with the Martian Underground factions secretly. Secret Lunar association as well. - Great Power

Kasei City - A Japanese dome, built by JAXA but later fallen to Japanese cultural revivalists, one of the first cities on Mars. A respected place, which however lacks much impact due to being neutral and small (being open exclusively to Japanese revivalists). - Small Nation

Chimera League- A vertical state, it has three or four different domes, but houses a massive amount of population in vertical shafts dug deep into the Martian crust. The League is an anarchist society, not very liked by its neighbors, but being careful and seemingly politically un-involved has helped them remain out of the radar of the Earthers. - Regional Power

Der Elysiumconfederation - The Elysium Confederation, the largest state to survive the Martian War, fiercely neutral ever since its inception, the Confederation has trading partners on both Luna and Earth, which has made it good money. - Great Power

Memnonian Cyberocracy - The Only Martian Cyberocracy, openly allied to the Triarchy, which has caused a lot of issues for the Earthers up north. Has a massive garrison of Parthenians, as well as Crescent Painted ships regularly landing on its territory. - Great Power

Galilian Domes - 9 domes set up by Israeli refugees, far less religious then its Europan counterpart, Galilee has been mainly peaceful, not trying to draw attention to itself.[/quote]

In the cold hard void of space, ugly, misshapen ships trudge forward through the darkness, in search of resources, conquest and plunder, as they always do. In the deafening silence and darkness, kinetic rounds light the world for brief seconds before smashing into ship bows, splitting them and spilling their guts in the empty wastes.

Somewhere, companies crush the rock of asteroids, in search of water, materials and resources to fuel their every thirsty trek on-wards. Over the gas giants, massive conglomerates of wealthy station-masters clash over the endless, majestic, rust colored skies below them. And in the midst of all that, the Hyperpowers make their moves, quick to claim the riches of the solar system to themselves. This is humanity at its worst.

Môresterland-Vrystaat - Boer settlers on Venus, utilizing the intense climates to operate massive farms (vertical greenhouses and so on), as well as solar energy gathering. The wealthy live in floating habitats miles above in the clouds, anchored to the surface, while those less well off work in the sweltering farms. - Great Power - Lunar Ally

Zeergild Corporation - One of the main competitors to the Vrystaat, economy concentrated mostly on solar energy, owns 2/3 of the few floating cities over Venus. - Great Power - Earther Ally

The Wanderers - Cult of the Sun, new age, Scientology and Inti revivalism mixed into one. Have a very small station, heavily proselytizing religion. - Small Nation - Neutral

Triarchal Stations - a collection of stations owned by the three nations of the Triarchy, a few military bases, combined research stations, Dār al-Maqāmah owns the anchor of the Lunar space elevator. The Parthian collective has a station that is combined an extreme circumstances training facility, a research station and a trade hub from the inner planets.

European Station - The Earther way-point to the Zeergild corporation, a massive trade hub for goods coming from Venus.

Chinese Station - Research outpost, rather small.

Indian Station in Earth's Lagrange point - One of the oldest stations out there, the Indians have been constantly adding to it for over 150 years, growing it in size and scope. It is one of the largest dry-docks in space.

African Stations - The African Union keeps its Space Superiority by tugging a Near Earth Object roughly 20 miles wide into Lagrange Point 3, and then eight years later another object into Lagrange Point 5. These objects were heavily mined and afterwards what remained of their massive ant colony like mines were sealed, pressurized, and made the basis for gargantuan settlements. These new stations were given the names Ogyinae and Makeda, after the West African Hero who settled the Earth and the Ethiopian name for the Queen of Sheba respectively. Nowadays they are the largest dry docs and space ports in the inner system.

Phobos Elevator Company - The largest company on Mars, responsible for the Space Elevator. Heavily on the African paycheck, though having no real loyalty. - Regional Power - Earther aligned

African stations - A combination of military installations, research stations and trade hubs to ferry goods and riches from the outer system. A vital lifeline for the Earthers.

Chinese station over Mars - one of the oldest in Mars' orbit, equipped with a full military squadron of the Chinese Republican Army. The Chinese are hopeful to drag it over Olympus Mons and run a space elevator from the platform.

Indian Stations - Mainly used as Hubs for Indian shipping from the Kuiper belt, kept close to Mars, to protect interests.

Ceres Mining Authority - The virtual capital of the asteroid belt, every shipment of materials, fuel or water passes through Ceres station and the mining authority. - Great Power / Earther Alligned

Hephaestus Corp. - The Largest belter company, owned and operated by belters. Still heavily oppressive to its work force, but under the guise of helping the belters. - Lunar Aligned / Great Power

LuMiOp LTD - The largest mining company in the Asteroid Ring. Its all in the name, Lunar Mining Operations. Ran by clones and AIs mostly, its major stations eerily quiet. - Lunar Aligned / Great Power

African Mining - The African Bank and the African Parliament invested quite a lot of money in setting up the African mining corporation in the belt. Constantly exchanging pot-shots with LuMiOp LTD and paying pirates to plunder or getting plundered. - Earther Aligned / Regional Power

China Shenhua - One of the richest mining companies, was here the longest and thus has access to some of the best sites. Has been pushed out by other stronger powers, be it African or Triarch. - Chinese / Earther / Regional Power

Hermes Asteroid Ltd. - One of the newer companies, Tychan ran and mostly robotized operation. Keeps out of the belter conflicts, but still Lunar aligned, bringing in water and metals. - Lunar Aligned / Small Nation

Asteroid Corporation - Indian contractors, holding on to their territories with tooth and nail, have been known to use PMCs heavily and even dragging the Indian Space Forces into fights from time to time. Owns one of the larger trade hubs.

Chanderiya Complex - In fierce competition for Ceres station with the Chinese, Africans and the new kid on the block, Siemens. - Indian / Small Nation

Skouries Extraction Operations - Another pretended itching its way to Ceres, founded by an ambitious clone from Luna, employing trash from all over the solar system and even rumored to be working with pirates. - Lunar aligned / Small Nation

Siemens Mining - The new player in the block, the Europeans pretty much gave it a blank check. Pushing the Chinese out of the Market, armed with a giant PMC and already building two massive stations to serve as basis of operations.

Callistan Cartel - With the Freeholders moving into Callisto and successfully pushing out the rival cartels out of it, a group of enterprising businessmen on Callisto gathered together. They found support in Luna and pushed hard into Freeholder territory. They recently bribed off the administrator of Chandra station, acquiring the whole station without a single drop of blood shed. One of the biggest competitions of the Freeholders in extracting fuel from the gas giant. - Lunar Aligned - Great Power

Europan Collective - a small nation, sharing a few domes on Luna, gathered from all over the solar system, they make their cash by mining and selling water. But with the Freeholders, Zionists and Cartels moving in, the Collective is feeling the pinch. - Small Nation / Neutral

Kolob Construction Site - A giant construction site for the first human generation ship. The Mormon church having pooled all of it resources to send its best and brightest to a better world. - Small Nation / Neutral

UN Dove Station - A waypoint and a meeting spot for the scum of the outer system. Ran by the United Nations' peacekeepers and kept in check by a solid division of the blue helmets. - Neutral / Small Nation

Free Jovian Movement - No more Freeholders, no more Cartels, no more foreign powers. That is what the Free Jovian movement is fighting for, using stealth and ingenuity, they try and keep it that way. - Lunar Aligned (secretly) / Small Nation

Titan Republics - A collection of misfits, rednecks and freeholder rejects, who banded together. 50 years ago they jury rigged some stolen Earther tech and founded the first of the five titan republics. They have remained in a constant state of guerrilla warfare with the Freeholds, never seeming to collapse. They recently found Lunar help and are using the weapons they... found, to great effect. - Lunar Aligned / Great Power

League of Ansoft - Those of the richer assholes in the outer system that didn't join the Freeholders, created their own corporate heaven, Ansoft. While a major contractor for Luna and a large Freeholder competitor, this one at least doesn't shoot but rather does it the old fashion way. Though friction has been growing. - Lunar Aligned / Great Power

This isn't you typical BoP game. In fact, this ain't really a BoP game. In this game, there are stats, but you make them! I know its a lot, but that allows me to have a good understanding of your nation. If you don't want to fill it all, I will put [*] on the things I really really need.

Even small 'countries' may be decentralized, a collection of towns and or a league. None of us are playing "North Korea mode" quite yet.

I know it seems like a lot, but if you fill it all, I can get a good understanding of your nation without having issues, and so would other players as well.

Anyways, now you have the stats ready right? Good!

How do we play then? There will be Game Thread (Solar System Daily] where you post what happened with your nation. This game works in real time, meaning that every day in real life is equal to a certain amount of time in-game. In my case, it will probably be 6 months, meaning that two days are a year, four days are two years and so on and so fourth. Basically, you are RPing as your nation, THE WHOLE NATION, not just the rulers, meaning that you will have to adequately tackle the issues facing your nation (or choose to play a corrupt asshole who drives the whole thing to the ground) and of course, posting the reaction of your populace to your actions. Keep it realistic as possible, we all know that even if you solve one issue another will pop up. If I don't find your role-playing adequate, I will punish you.

So now, rightfully, you all are wondering what the hell will I do then? Well, leaving your internal issues to yourselves and letting you weave your own stories from inside your nations, means I can concentrate on the foreign relations aspect of the game. If you wish to do something secretive to another nation, you send me a PM. If you wish to start a war? You declare it and send me a PM with your battle tactics. You wish to talk to NPC nations, talk to me, I will represent them. That can be done in thread, as if you were in the UN, or it can be done via PM. I prefer it to be done in thread so I can respond in bulk. You want new inventions? You guessed it, send me a PM.
