Hi. Um, stuff.

I'm a twenty something IT guy from St. Louis. Found the forums through a google search for nationsims that led me to a forum post that lead me Cthuluvong's site that lead me here.
Amateur historian, big fan of strategy games, leftist but bad it at because I work for a financial company. Nothing but work Thursdays-Saturdays, mess around on forums the rest of my time to fill out the boredom,

Ummm, that's about it.

Will be sure to avoid invading Russia if you're playing it. Welcome!

Hey! Welcome to Molotov!

The quickest way to get to know us is probably to check out our IRC (you can access it really easily using info here: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4), there's usually at least one person in there at all hours, normally more.

Anywho, great to have you - if you're looking for a nationsim-type game, I just kicked off a game set in a slightly alternate Louisiana in 1792, based on the idea that France held onto Louisiana west of the Mississippi after the Seven Years War, with players taking roles as revolutionaries or disgruntled locals to attempt government change somewhere along the spectrum from American Revolution to French Revolution.

Or there are some other games we've got going right now... I'll make a sales pitch for the other one I'm running too, it's a kind of huge fantasy game based on a series of games we've had where mysterious storms in our world throughout history transport people to other worlds. This one involves Crusaders making the Third Crusade being launched into a mysterious world not their own.

If anything catches your eye, be sure to ask about it!

He is also "special".

Anyways. Welcome to the Forum man, I hope you like it here. Huojin covered pretty much anything [including advertising his games like the whore he is].

Don't be alarmed, we are a tight knit community, we know each other personally most of the cases, so it can seem intimidating at first. But swing to IRC, we don't mind company. :D

Hello! Both Louisiana and Metro have just started moving. Joining them will be a great way to get to know the site.
