Hello there

Post by Pager » 20:01:07 Tuesday, 02 August, 2016

Hi. Some might remember me. This is Pager. Long time no see. I thought you were all... like gone. Nice to see you again. What have you guys been up to? I recently left Communist Paradise for Capitalist America... for those who remember where I'm from. By the way, what happened to Patton?

(For those sceptical, I asked a question on IRC I'm fairly certain only Pager would know/remember, so I'm pretty sure he's the real deal. But I could also be an idiot, so y'know :gameofthrones!: )

Already chatted on IRC, but worth saying again that it's good to see you man! It's been years, but it's weirdly comforting seeing the old faces crop up again. We're all still here, mostly. Busier lives these days, but still hanging out, chatting in IRC, playing games together, etc. What've you been up to other than moving to the US?

Well, I moved to the countryside and worked in my dad's farm for 4 years. Then I went back to the city and worked as an English teacher for two more years. Chavez died, Socialism escalated quickly, I got fed up with it, packed my bags and moved to Miami. Now I'm an asylum seeker in the US. Other than that, life is peachy.

I started playing BoP before Fo'Dolo existed. It was back in the Particracy's forum. MrDie came up with it, who was an Enver Hoxha fanboy. I believe Gesar was there too and some others. Huojin is an Indian-English guy from London, a Tottenham Hotspur fan. Gesar is American and also a Communist. Sonny was in the navy and from New Jersey I think. What else can I say to prove my identity?

I go with Malaysian-English and I'm an Arsenal fan, but we're bitter enemies of Tottenham so I'll give you a pass ;P As I said, I believe you personally anyway haha.

You planning on sticking around a while?

Well, I was close enough. I don't know. What are you playing now?

I'm running a Louisiana govsim, set in the 1790s in a slightly altered history where France held onto the Louisiana Purchase territory after the Seven Years War and now it's experiencing the repercussions of the revolution - I'd love to have you get in on that!

As for games I'm playing, I'm Mexico in 1898 which is fun, and the US in 1968, which we just recently started and is going well. We'd welcome you in either, always great to have good, experienced players around.

Or you can just chill and hang with us, chat about films and politics and shit like we always used to do, man.

Alright. I'll try BoP 1968 while I get familiar with things again. Thank you for the welcome.

I'm after your time. Or you're before mine. So I don't think we know each other!
