Lol, my AAR would be hilarious.

Comarde Chairman MoO sits at his desks in confusion. He grabs his budget and calculator as an aid pours a glass of vodka.

"Hmm, it seems like we spent 20 monies to send envelopes to the Right Wing? What the fuck does that mean?"

After arbitrarily setting a random budget and finishing his glass of Vodka Comrade Chairman MoO stares at the globe. His aid pours him another glass.

"Let's send weapons to Libya. Let's send weapons to Zimbabwe. What is this even doing? Where are we getting these weapons from?"

Finally Chairman MoO grabs the bottle and begins chugging from it. He randomly decides to invest in some technologies and reforms. Wooh.

I don't know if anyone is a fan of the Dominions series, but I've been playing since Dominions 2 and it's one of my favorite series. I put a lot of time into the latest one already. It's a great game with a small, yet dedicated following.

It's a fairly complex grand strategy game but I love the setting. Basically, you play as a "Pretender God" and are a magical being of great power trying to ascend to godhood. You also lead a nation, and the nation can build armies and stuff. It has a very high fantasy setting. Dragons, zombies, magical ethereal beings, etc. I love the lore in the game, each nation feels different and has a great backstory.

It reminds me of the God games we've played on this forum in the past. I highly recommend to anyone who doesn't mind poor graphics but deep strategy!

I'm a new fan of dominions. A buddy of mine got me into 4 but I didn't really enjoy it. I'm loving 5, though, for some reason.

Hit me up if you wanna do a blitz or PBEM.

The games ever since 2 are fairly the same, mechanically and graphically.

I like that they don't reinvent themselves every new installment (Looking at you, Civilization series)

New Total War game. Total War Sagas: Thrones of Britannia.

9th century British Isles.

Seems exciting! I know Gesar loves Wales and Coin loves Scotland, although no Scots are playable IIRC.

Gonna try playing one of the Norse Hebrides factions first.

This is the first Total War "Saga". I don't know how that makes it different, except the price is cheaper. Will let you know if it's good! (Probably will be)

How was it? I never got it despite being on my list.

The new TW game was hot trash.

I still play mostly CK2 and Stellaris. Try to play HOI4 every once in a while but it becomes boring once WW2 is over.
