Oh man, just read through that whole thread. What a nostalgia trip. Still, we pulled off a fair few raids in our time - I'd like to think we were moderately successful :P

In Iceland, it’s no longer legal to kill Basques on sight

So I have know this website has existed for years, but what I found was interesting is that there is a forum attached to the website. I am currently weighing the costs and benefits of joining.

So Bologna, where I've been living for the past year, is a well-known centre for left wing political sentiment, including communists, anarchists, socialists, trade unionists, and so on. Accordingly there's a substantial amount of left wing graffiti in the city, particularly around the university. Most of it is that antifa stuff, flags, anarchist A's, flags of red and black and son on, but there's also a couple of pieces some of you (coughGesarandSmygcough) might like. Here's 2.

"What if Russia breaks up? The peril beyond Putin." - The Economist

Seems unlikely, but an interesting read nonetheless.

There is no "game over" screen for 1990. 1990 endures.

As well ask men what they think of stone. 1990 was always here. Before man was, 1990 waited for him.

The Economist are generally a bit dodgy with these clickbait-type articles. Same sort of thing they did with that front cover making awful puns on Scotland's placenames and implying we'd be poor.

That, and this sillyness, makes me respect it a lot less. I prefer the Spectator, even if I don't agree with plenty that's written in it, and it is self-evidently desperately unionist.

But then, so is Fleet Street, so :P
