Whoever the most dominant Chinese faction is. I think it's the KMT at this point? I need to check.

The idea of there being a dominant faction in China in 1918 is completely laughable, but you'd be looking at the Beiyang government for the most "powerful" group.

Hence why I added a 'most' in there. I didn't mean to imply there was a dominant faction, I should've used powerful or strongest.

Hm, could be fun. I think I'll either be France or Hungary. Leave it up to GM prerogative.

Keep signing up, I will update the OP accordingly.

The remaining picks are :

Persia (Regional power wedged between the British Empire and whatever becomes of Russia.)
South Africa (On the doorstep of apartheid and nationhood.)
Mexico (Poor and just came out of a civil war. Still better then IRL tho)
Portugal (Unstable first Republic, about to face a monarchist revolt)
Belgium (Obligatory hand cutting)
Norway (Freshly independent and neutral)

Anything else I have forgotten that should be available

For civil wars with two players (one for each side), the losing player will be granted 1st pick in whatever is available next.

Mexico could also be a relevant pick for your list. Argentina and Chile are also having their three-way arms race and tensions between them and Brazil, or at least they plan to do so and could easily do so, so there's a lot of South America fun times available with those three conflicting each other and being supported by others.

A quick announcement :

Luc offered me to be a Co-GM. I accepted. He will help me process the turns so that we can churn them out at a steady pace. During the civil war in russia, he will still portray the Whites, but if the Whites win, he will surrender that position and someone entirely new can take Russia. If the Reds loose, the Red player cannot be Russia. He however can pick a new nation afterwards and will be immediately accepted.
